Zoox offers rides through an app, with access that differs by city. In the October 26, 2026 information, its Las Vegas page invites riders to get started, San Francisco describes a free preview reached through a waitlist, and Austin says coming soon. Start with your journey and the people travelling, then check the local booking options.3567Inferred

Where can you request a ride?

The Las Vegas page lists service hours from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. and points to separate Harry Reid International Airport information. Check the app for your pickup and destination. A city page and an airport link do not establish that every terminal, address or departure time is supported.58

In San Francisco, downloading the app and joining the waitlist comes before an invitation to request rides. Austin's public page says the service is coming soon and also directs people to a waitlist. Seeing a Zoox vehicle on the road is therefore a different thing from having passenger access.67

Who can travel with you?

Zoox excludes children under eight. The person hailing the ride must be at least eighteen and remain present throughout it. Guests under eighteen need parental or guardian consent and an accompanying adult; the terms specify an adult over eighteen in that accompaniment clause. Check the restraint requirements for each child as well as their age.3

A maximum of four people may ride. Zoox allows trained service dogs, but the relevant accessibility question is still whether the vehicle and boarding arrangement suit the person travelling. If someone uses a mobility aid, confirm fit and assistance before relying on the service for an essential journey.34Inferred

What should you check before starting?

Zoox's current terms describe charges in US dollars and allow fares and applicable fees. They say a booked ride's price will not change without a rider-initiated update. Check the quote for your particular trip; the free San Francisco preview is not a fare promise for Las Vegas.36

For an issue during a ride, Zoox directs passengers to the in-vehicle call button, touchscreen or app. Save time to understand those controls before starting, especially if the ride is your first experience with a vehicle doing the driving.35Inferred
