Leju makes robots at very different scales. Its range includes smaller educational machines and the full-size Kuavo family, which is directed toward research, commercial services, industrial work and data collection. That breadth matters when following the company: a programmable classroom robot and a full-size work platform are different purchases.13
Visit Leju Robotics ↗The business behind Kuavo
The Shenzhen company was established on 24 March 2016, with Leng Xiaokun, Chang Lin and An Ziwei as its three original shareholders and founding participants. The prospectus records an earlier Harbin venture formed in October 2015 by Leng, Chang and other participants. These are successive parts of the business’s history.2
The current filing uses the name Lejoin Intelligence (ShenZhen) Co., Ltd., while the familiar product-facing name remains Leju. Its catalogue brings together Kuavo, Roban and Aelos robots, with Pando and Cube educational products. Readers should follow the exact product family rather than assuming that every Leju machine has the same size, software or purpose.123
Leju has also worked on the software surrounding its machines. An April 2023 agreement with Shenzhen Kaihong concerned OpenHarmony robotics applications. Its current download centre lists a Kuavo desktop client for editing arm, finger and head motions. These are useful parts of the development story, but compatibility still needs to be checked for the machine being supplied.45
The prospectus dates the Kuavo 3 market introduction to December 2023 and the Kuavo 5 and 5-W launches to October 2025. That gives the full-size family its own chronology within a company that also makes educational robots.23
Robots and the work they are designed for
Within the Kuavo family, Leju’s homepage distinguishes 4Pro, 5 and 5-W. Ask the supplier to name the exact model in a quote so you can compare its intended work and compatible software.13
Kuavo 4Pro, 5 and 5-W
Kuavo spans research, business services, industrial work and data-training settings. The 5-W is a wheeled fifth-generation variant intended for flat factory-floor work, not a walking biped. Start with the route and work surface before comparing configurations.12
Roban, Aelos, Pando and Cube
Leju’s catalogue also includes Roban and Aelos robots, with Pando and Cube educational products. These lines belong alongside Kuavo in the company story, but they do not share one size, software package or intended user.3
Choose the task, then the configuration
Describe the job before choosing a full-size machine: where it must travel, what it must handle and who can configure it. Then ask the supplier to identify the compatible software, delivery package and repair arrangements in your country. A home-like demonstration is interesting, but it does not settle those ownership questions.1257
