Mammotion
LUBA and YUKA brought Mammotion into the garden; its range also reaches pool care and commercial-mowing research.13
Mammotion organizes its outdoor robots around different jobs. LUBA is the all-wheel-drive mower line. YUKA includes lawn mowing and a separate sweeping line, while SPINO takes the business into pool cleaning. For a household, the first choice is the job to hand over, followed by the exact model and generation that offers it.1
Visit Mammotion ↗Robotics experience becomes a garden product
Mammotion identifies January 2022 as its founding date and names Jidong Wei as founder. Its early release describes a team with robotics and drone experience, drawing on chassis and algorithm work from AgileX Robotics. The company’s own history reaches back to an all-wheel-drive chassis prototype in 2018, before the Mammotion business was formed.12
LUBA AWD arrived in April 2022. Mammotion says the product’s Kickstarter campaign had raised more than US$3.37 million by its conclusion that June. Crowdfunding gave the first consumer mower a way to reach its audience, with the amount tied to a named product campaign. January 2024 then brought the LUBA 2 AWD generation.1
The range subsequently expanded with smaller YUKA products and SPINO pool cleaners. At CES in January 2026, the company’s release identified Jayden Wei as CEO and described Maston as a commercial-mowing concept in feasibility and technology validation. The project points toward a professional market while remaining distinct from a mower offered for a family’s garden.13
Products and garden jobs
Keep the full label when comparing Mammotion models. Original LUBA 2, later X variants and YUKA mini products can differ in cutting height, navigation equipment and support period. A familiar family name is a starting point for the comparison.469
LUBA 2 AWD 3000, original 2024 model
The original 3000 is rated for 3,000 m² of mowing and up to 20 zones. Its 3,500 m² app-storage figure describes map storage. Standard and H versions also differ: their cutting-height ranges are 25-70 mm and 55-100 mm respectively. These specifications belong to the original model, not the later 3000X.6
YUKA mini, original family
The European original YUKA mini 600 and 800 are labeled for 600 m² and 800 m². Their overview describes RTK and vision positioning, with NetRTK depending on regional coverage. The published 6.1 Ah battery figure applies specifically to the 800. Neither a larger YUKA sweeper nor a mini 2 feature should be assumed for these models.1910
SPINO pool cleaners
SPINO is the pool-cleaning part of Mammotion’s portfolio. If pool care is the job you want help with, compare an exact SPINO model and local package rather than borrowing specifications from the mower lines.1
Plan the work around your garden
Mammotion lists security updates for original LUBA 2 models through January 1, 2029. The LUBA 2 X variants and original YUKA mini are listed through January 1, 2030. Those are software-security commitments. Hardware warranties, spare parts and the condition of an older mower are separate questions for the seller.4
The original YUKA mini EU listing advertises live yard monitoring and an introductory year of 4G service. Check who can access the account and what renewal costs follow that period. Both original EU variants were marked out of stock on October 25, 2026, and the product and comparison pages displayed different prices. Confirm one exact offer before comparing it with a newer-generation promotion.911
What would a normal mowing week require?
Which grass areas need mowing, where could the positioning equipment go and who would recover a stopped mower while you are away? Ask the seller to walk through that plan for the exact model, including repairs and account access. If collecting leaves is essential, request explicit confirmation that the offered machine and accessory perform that job.110
