Ford’s MY2026 order guide lists factory Technology Package 52M as optional on Premium, with BlueCruise equipment and one year plus 90 days of access. Confirm the package on the actual equipment record and the continuing service terms. It remains eyes-on highway assistance; an older drive or a package name does not identify a delivered MY2026 software build.³⁶

Who can travel, and where do the bags go?

Ford lists five seats and 29.7 cubic feet of luggage space behind the rear seat. Rear outboard positions have LATCH anchors. Bring the child seats and bags you expect to use to a fitting appointment: the seating count and cargo volume cannot tell you whether your particular combination will fit comfortably.²

Which 2026 Mach-E has BlueCruise?

For a US MY2026 Select or Premium, look for factory Technology Package 52M on the vehicle's equipment record. It includes BlueCruise equipment and one year plus 90 days of service. Ford says a car ordered without this package cannot gain BlueCruise later merely by purchasing a subscription.³

GT includes the Technology Package. Ford separately confirms it as standard on Rally, together with the same included BlueCruise period. Package contents still differ: the wireless charging pad and universal garage opener are unavailable on Select.³⁴¹

What changes on a family journey?

Consider the highway stretch of a regular visit to family. On compatible roads, BlueCruise can assist with steering, speed and braking while you supervise. It does not give the driver time to turn around and care for a child. If most of the journey is on local streets, do not budget as though the whole trip will be hands-free.⁶⁵

What does the starting price include?

Ford displayed a $37,795 starting MSRP for the base Select on October 26, 2026. That excludes destination and delivery, taxes, other listed fees and optional equipment. It is not the price of a Select with BlueCruise. Request a quote that separately identifies the vehicle, Technology Package and service plan.⁷

How should I plan range and charging?

The reference Select RWD uses a 73 kWh usable standard-range battery. Ford lists 260 miles of EPA-estimated range from a full charge, with actual distance depending on conditions. Use that exact configuration when discussing your trip and charging stops; the range of a different Mach-E battery or drivetrain is not interchangeable.²³Inferred

Check the charging accessories on the order as well. For MY2026, Ford made the NACS fast-charging adapter and drainable front trunk optional. A photo showing either does not establish what comes with the car you are pricing.¹

What about the announced 2027 Trail?

Ford announced MY2027 dealer ordering on October 22, 2026, with Trail arrivals expected in the first quarter of 2027. Trail is a package for Select eAWD. Its BlueCruise hardware must be chosen at order, using the MY2027 Tech Pack Lite arrangement. Those package names and expected arrivals should not be applied to the MY2026 car.⁸
