AGIBOT combines robot hardware with its own AI and software. The compact X2 humanoid is part of a wider lineup built for shops, industrial work, inspection and commercial cleaning.567

A young company building more than one kind of robot

AGIBOT was founded in February 2023 and unveiled its first A1 humanoid that August. A year later, it introduced the A2 and X1 series. That short history helps explain the range of robots now appearing under the AGIBOT name: the company has been developing several product families alongside its robot AI.146

Founder and chief executive Deng Taihua puts AI at the center of the business, with the robot providing a physical form for it. Co-founder Peng Zhihui serves as president and chief technology officer. Their company develops the software for movement, interaction and handling objects as well as the machines themselves.36

The commercial work is becoming more concrete. In September 2026, AGIBOT reported a rollout of 100 X2 humanoids across 100 ASD retail stores in China, working alongside sales staff. The announcement describes a service role for the X2 family, although it does not identify those robots as the Neo or Ultra package offered in its shop.8

Minth announced its European value-added-distributor role for AGIBOT on February 24, 2026. Serbia's development agency later reported the partners' August 29 robot-manufacturing launch at Minth's Majur facility in Sabac. Distribution and localized robot manufacturing are different roles; these accounts do not establish an AGIBOT installation on an auto-parts production line.1011

The products, and the jobs behind them

The X2 family focuses on performance and interaction. Other AGIBOT lines address different jobs, so a capability shown by one model should not be assumed to come with another.57

X2 Neo

The compact performance and interaction model featured above. Languages and advanced interactions depend on the software package; Neo does not include secondary-development access.5

A2 and G2

A2 is positioned for guided presentations and showroom interaction. G2 addresses industrial handling and manipulation.7

D1 and C5

D1 is a quadruped line for inspection work. C5 is a floor-cleaning robot for large commercial facilities.7

What this means if you are considering an X2

For someone exploring a robot at home, the useful starting point is the experience they want to create. X2 Neo is presented for performance and interaction. A greeting for guests or a family activity asks different things of a robot than cleaning up after dinner.5

What would you actually like it to do?

Choose one activity, then ask to see it on the exact model and software package in the quotation. Which language will it use? Who sets up the routine? What happens when it needs help? AGIBOT says delivery and support depend on configuration and destination, so those details belong in the conversation before an order.5
