A household may know Anker through a charger and eufy through a robot vacuum or doorbell. They belong to the same business. That connection became more visible in September 2026, when Anker announced a gradual move toward one Anker brand. For a robot buyer, eufy remains a useful name to recognize on products, while Anker Innovations is the company to follow for ownership and financial information.12

Anker traces its charging business to 2011. Founder Steven Yang, also known as Yang Meng, describes his earlier work as a Google engineer in machine learning. The business has since expanded into charging and energy storage, smart innovation, and smart audio and video, the categories used in its 2026 half-year report.234
What the new branding changes
On September 3, 2026, Anker said the brand change would happen in stages, starting with new products and gradually reaching existing ones. It said warranty coverage, customer support and service would remain unchanged through the transition. That statement concerns the branding change; each product's regional terms still govern its support.2
Products and household jobs
Within the wider group, eufy's US catalog reaches across cleaning and home security. Robot vacuums sit alongside robot lawn mowers, cameras, doorbells, smart locks and mother-and-baby products. For a household, the range offers several starting points: cleaning floors, caring for a lawn or watching the front door. Choose the job before comparing devices and their compatibility.1
eufy Omni S2
Omni S2 combines vacuuming with a HydroJet 2.0 roller mop. Start with the recurring job: mopping hard floors, picking up dry debris, or both. Then compare the robot and dock package with the space and maintenance routine you can provide. Review the vacuum's own app permissions, since the Anker/eufy privacy notice covers several services.67
Smart audio and video
Smart audio and video is another Anker reporting category, alongside charging and smart innovation. Together, these categories show how far the business extends beyond floor-cleaning robots.4
Choosing for your home
For someone comparing an older eufy listing with an Anker eufy listing, the practical next step is to match the model identifier and package. Keep the invoice and use the support route associated with the original purchase. A new name on a website does not by itself establish a hardware revision, an upgrade or compatibility with a new accessory.26
Is the product the same behind the new name?
When two listings use eufy and Anker eufy branding, do the model code, dock package and local support terms match? For an Omni S2, inspect its own app permissions and maintenance instructions before assuming that another Anker device works the same way.267
