If your cat disappears behind the sofa, a camera that can move may be more useful than a wider fixed view. Enabot's original EBO Air is built for that kind of remote look-in, with two-way voice and play features. Check that a seller is offering the original Air: Air 2 and Air 2 Plus are separate models with their own features.32
Follow the route before comparing features
Enabot's support page lists a laser pointer, feather play attachment and front anti-drop detection among Air's features. The more revealing limit for a home is its approximate 5-6mm threshold-crossing ability. Check the actual path between the dock and the places your pet uses, including small lips between rooms.3
EBO Air is not waterproof, and its wheels need periodic cleaning to remove hair and dust. The maker advises starting gently with timid pets and keeping the charging cord protected from chewing. Leave time for your pet to get used to the movement, and plan who will clear the wheels or retrieve the device when needed.3
The app is part of ownership
The international EBO application policy describes account verification, collection of Wi-Fi, phone and device information, and manually enabled cloud-video storage. Before enabling recording, agree who may use the account and which rooms the camera should enter. Review the storage options with everyone whose home life could appear on camera.4
A separate Chinese app policy was updated in August 2026. Check the policy shown by the app used in your country and the actual storage options enabled for your account. The policy's description of optional cloud functions does not itself establish which plans are offered for an original Air today.543
Buying an older model
Enabot's original-Air support page was available on October 26, 2026. Current hardware price, stock and a guaranteed service end date remain unconfirmed. For a used unit, ask the seller to demonstrate pairing with your phone, remote viewing and return to the charger. Confirm support for that exact device before relying on it for a daily look-in.63
Write down the main task before deciding: checking a particular corner, speaking to a pet, or arranging occasional play. Then ask whether the original Air can reach that spot and whether someone at home can clean the wheels or retrieve it if it stops along the way. Choose around that route and routine, then compare the features of the exact model on offer.32
