The original 3000 and its lawn
LUBA 2 AWD 3000 is the original 2024 member of Mammotion's second LUBA generation, intended for maintaining lawns with all-wheel drive and vision-assisted satellite positioning. The '3000' model should not be merged with the later 3000X or with LUBA mini and LUBA 3. Even within the original model, Standard and H versions have different cutting heights.13
Mowing area and map storage
The original 3000 column lists 3,000 m² mowing size and up to 20 mowing zones. The larger 3,500 m² app-storage figure describes map storage, not additional mowing capacity. Its 40 cm cutting width and manufacturer-rated 80% climbing ability are paired with a separate 45% edge-slope limit.1
Standard and H cutting heights
The Standard version adjusts from 25 to 70 mm; the H version from 55 to 100 mm. That difference is useful to settle before buying used equipment or a remaining-stock offer. Ask for the full label and the exact cutting-height range, rather than accepting a generic LUBA 2 description.1
Positioning beneath trees and beside buildings
Mammotion describes vision as a complement to RTK positioning when satellite corrections are lost. Its support explanation also gives a limit: camera-positioning error can accumulate with distance traveled. That is a reason to evaluate the actual route beneath trees and around the house, rather than treating 'vision plus RTK' as a promise that every part of the garden will behave identically.41
Price and security support
A current new-unit price for the exact original 3000 was not established. Mammotion's security table lists the original LUBA 2 line through January 1, 2029, compared with January 1, 2030 for the X variants. These are security-update periods, not hardware warranties.15
Remote viewing and ownership
The support table includes a vision-monitoring function and 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Before enabling remote viewing, check the current privacy notice and who can access the account. Also confirm the supplied RTK station, dock and any cellular charges for that unit. This profile does not establish a universal free-data plan or local-only image processing.1
Try the difficult part of the garden
Use the difficult part of the garden to decide whether this mower makes sense: the slope beside the boundary, the route between grass areas, or the stretch with poor positioning reception. Measure those places and ask how the original 3000 would be installed and recovered if it stops. A headline climbing figure is only one part of that choice.14
