ECOVACS

The Suzhou group behind DEEBOT floor cleaners, WINBOT window robots and the Tineco appliance brand.24

Consumer brands
ECOVACS, Tineco2

ECOVACS approaches home robotics as a collection of chores. DEEBOT handles floors, WINBOT is designed for windows and GOAT takes the company's robots onto the lawn. The business behind those families is Ecovacs Robotics, a Shanghai-listed group based in Suzhou, China. Its accounts also include Tineco, so its financial size is broader than robot vacuums alone.124

A factory learns to build its own robots

Qian Dongqi founded the group in 1998. Before that, he worked in the Shenzhen branch of China Electronics Import and Export Corporation; the company's biography also records studies in physics and philosophy at Nanjing University. His business began with manufacturing. ECOVACS' anniversary history describes a Suzhou factory that gradually developed its own engineering capabilities and brands.23

The company tells an unusually specific story about the turn toward robots: in 2000, a newspaper report about robot football gave Qian the idea of combining robotics with vacuum cleaners. The ECOVACS brand launched in 2006. That distinction matters when reading the history. The group traces its origins to 1998, while the consumer brand is younger.23

That manufacturing history now sits behind two different consumer businesses: ECOVACS home-service robots and Tineco smart appliances. The group management page identifies Annie Zhuang as group general manager and David Qian as CEO of the ECOVACS brand. Their responsibilities are distinct from those of founder and chairman Qian Dongqi.25

Products and household jobs

Choose the household job first. DEEBOT covers floor cleaning, WINBOT windows, GOAT lawn mowing and AIRBOT air purification. These are product families: an exact model and regional package still determine what you are buying.4

ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone

X11 OmniCyclone is one vacuum-and-mop model within the DEEBOT family. The US package uses a bagless dust station and removable clean- and dirty-water tanks. X11 PRO OMNI is a separately named model with a bagged station. Check the full model name when comparing a seller listing or replacement dock.467

WINBOT

WINBOT is the window-cleaning family. Begin with the windows you want help with, then check an exact model for glass compatibility, setup, supervision and access requirements.4

Official details ↗

GOAT

GOAT is the lawn-mowing family. Sketch the lawn and its separate areas before comparing models, and ask how the chosen mower handles the boundaries and passages in that layout.4

Official details ↗

AIRBOT

AIRBOT is the air-purification family in the group portfolio. Check the exact model and local availability, including the replacement-filter supply and the rooms you want it to serve.4

Official details ↗

Tineco

Tineco includes FLOOR ONE floor washers and PURE ONE vacuum cleaners alongside other smart appliances. Consider whether you want a robot to travel around a room or an appliance to help with a chore you still perform. Both belong in the group story, but they answer different household needs.25

Make room for the whole routine

For X11 OmniCyclone, picture the station as well as the moving robot. Its care instructions describe emptying the dust container, washing the removed filter sponge and letting it dry fully before replacing it, and washing the removable trays. The US package also has clean- and dirty-water tanks. Choose a place where you can reach and remove these parts comfortably.6910

ECOVACS' published US/Canada warranty covers eligible new products purchased and used in those territories, subject to its terms and proof of purchase. Check the seller, condition and service location before ordering, especially when comparing an imported package with a local one.8

What will an ordinary cleaning day look like?

Write down the job you want help with, then walk through the work left afterward. Who will empty the container, refresh the water and clean the tray? Where will those parts dry? If your main frustration is vacuuming, mopping or window cleaning, use that answer to choose a product family before comparing features within it.46910
