Before you choose

Is Matrix10 Ultra the same as Matrix10 Pro?

No. This page follows Matrix10 Ultra and its Multi-Mop Switching Dock. Matrix10 Pro is separately named. A bundle adds accessories to an offer; it does not make the Ultra and Pro the same robot.

Why consider a dock that changes mop sets?

It could let you assign different pads to different rooms or jobs. Dreame lists thermal, nylon-bristle and water-absorbing sponge pads and three solution compartments. Match approved supplies to the floor finish instead of substituting household detergents.

Does automatic care mean no tank maintenance?

No. The dock washes and dries mops and empties dust, but the regional manual still calls for used-water tank care. Plan access to the 5.5-liter clean-water and 4-liter used-water tanks and the switching mechanism, and confirm the matching regional manual.

Does the 8 cm crossing claim apply to any step?

The 8 cm claim concerns a double-layer step with a sufficiently wide lower tread. The separate single-step figure is 4.2 cm. Check your actual threshold and instructions. The listed lowered and raised heights also need to fit your furniture gaps.

Which price should I compare?

On October 25, 2026 the US main option displayed USD 1,799.99 and a separate accessory bundle displayed USD 1,619.99. Those are dated offer contexts. Confirm the chosen package and current promotion before payment rather than blending them into one universal price.

What should I check about settings and support?

The Dreamehome app offers carpet settings and mop detachment. The robot uses an RGB camera and structured light. Review the model-specific permissions, regional warranty and replacement-pad supply. The available evidence does not establish a cloud-free mode or a complete support package for every country.

The robot and the job

Matrix10 Ultra is built around a question that a standard suction figure cannot answer: would you like different mop pads used in different parts of the home? Its Multi-Mop Switching Dock is designed to make that choice part of the cleaning routine. This profile covers Matrix10 Ultra, not the separately named Matrix10 Pro.1

The reason to look at the dock

Dreame lists thermal, nylon-bristle and water-absorbing sponge pads, alongside three solution compartments. Its product page distinguishes floor cleaner, pet-odor solution and wood-floor care solution. Treat these as specified supplies to match to the job and floor finish, rather than permission to fill the dock with any household detergent.1

The dock body measures 16.38×17.99×23.23 in and holds 5.5 liters of clean water and 4 liters of used water. It also handles mop washing, drying and dust emptying. Plan space to access the tanks and switching mechanism. Automatic care changes the routine, but the dock still needs to be placed where its service areas can be reached.1

The English section of Dreame's regional Matrix10 Ultra manual explains how the feature is set up: install the three mop assemblies in the dock-door slots, then check their cleaning-zone assignments in the app. It says automatic switching starts enabled. The same manual calls for cleaning the used-water tank after use, a reminder to plan for the care that remains.2

Access, settings and buying context

VersaLift lowers the robot's listed height to 3.50 in, rising to 4.37 in with the sensor up. Dreame's 8 cm crossing claim applies to a double-layer step with a sufficiently wide lower tread; the separate single-step figure is 4.2 cm. Check the actual shape of your threshold and the current instructions before treating either maximum as a fit.1

Carpet-care choices are made in the Dreamehome app, including mop detachment and carpet avoidance. The robot uses an RGB camera and structured light for obstacle handling. During setup, check which cleaning modes you want and read the model-specific camera permissions; this profile does not promise an unverified cloud-free mode.1

The US main option displayed USD 1,799.99 on October 25, 2026. A separate accessory bundle appeared at USD 1,619.99. Keep those offer contexts separate and confirm the selected package and any promotion at checkout. The dock's advertised 100°C cleaning figure refers to the wash system under stated test conditions, not a 100°C floor-cleaning temperature or a household disinfection guarantee.1

Choose this model for the tasks its switching dock could simplify: separate pads for different rooms, manageable access to the water tanks, and a clear plan for consumables. Confirm the regional warranty, replacement-pad supply and exact manual before purchase. These are ownership questions, not a claim that the robot has been tested in our home.1
