Start with the people who will share your Model 3, not just the software on the screen. Where will the child seats go, who needs the remaining rear-seat space, and where will you charge during an ordinary week? The five-seat US Rear-Wheel Drive model is the reference here. FSD (Supervised) is optional, and using it still means staying attentive at the wheel.136
Will my child seats fit alongside the other passengers?
Five seats do not guarantee that a particular combination of child restraints fits across the rear row. Tesla places the lower LATCH anchors at the rear outboard positions and requires a seat-belt-retained child seat in the center. Check your actual restraints and the space needed by the remaining passenger, using both the vehicle and restraint instructions. This is a fit check to make before buying, not a three-across approval.38
Does FSD let me work during the commute?
No. FSD (Supervised) requires you to watch the road and be ready to take over. Tesla describes assistance with turns, intersections and highway entry and exit on equipped cars. If you want help with driving, ask to see the functions available on the particular car you are considering. If you want to read or work on the journey, supervised assistance does not meet that need.6
What is the cash price of the selected Model 3?
On October 26, 2026, Rear-Wheel Drive in Stealth Grey with 18-inch Prismata wheels and All Black interior showed a $36,990 Vehicle Price. The $1,390 destination fee and $250 order fee raised the displayed estimate to $38,630 before taxes and government fees. The order fee was labeled non-refundable. Delivery timing is not guaranteed. The page's differing interior labels do not establish that this base car includes Premium-trim equipment.14
Which assistance is included, and what costs extra?
Traffic-Aware Cruise Control was listed as included. The selected order also showed a one-month FSD trial and an optional $99 monthly FSD subscription before tax. The subscription is billed separately, and the trial can change before delivery. Confirm eligibility for the particular car; Tesla may require a paid prerequisite upgrade and a software update. Canceling stops future billing without prorating the current monthly payment.147
What if I cannot charge at home?
Plan around charging locations you can use routinely and their actual prices. The order included a Mobile Connector, while the optional $585 Wall Connector requires installation. Public Supercharging has usage charges and can carry additional fees at a busy site. For third-party DC charging, Tesla tells owners to check CCS and third-party NACS support in the car's vehicle information. A matching plug alone does not establish compatibility.110
What about maintenance and occasional towing?
Tesla recommends rotating the tires at 6,250 miles or a tread-depth difference of 2/32 inch, whichever comes first, and changing the cabin filter every two years. Conditions can alter maintenance needs. The US Model 3 manual also says the car does not support towing. If your regular trips include a trailer, resolve that requirement before putting this configuration on your shortlist.119
Which model year and software would I receive?
The inspected order page did not establish a delivered model year or installed FSD build. The North America manual is labeled Model 3 2024+ and software 2026.32; these identify the manual's scope. Tesla lists 321 miles of EPA-estimated range for the selected RWD configuration. Confirm the actual car's year, hardware, software and package before treating any manual feature as included.156
