4NE1 is NEURA's attempt to put a robot into spaces designed around human reach and movement. The program spans industrial work and an ambition to help with everyday routines. It is best understood as a developing robot family whose generation and purchase terms need to be identified together.12

What the latest presentation describes

The main product page checked on October 26, 2026 introduces Gen4. NEURA describes a textile-covered body, says it is 20% lighter than the preceding generation, and identifies NEURON AI as running locally on the robot. The company says it is preparing series production. The relative weight claim does not establish Gen4’s absolute weight.1

For a family interested in future help at home, start with one complete job, such as collecting specified objects and putting them away. Ask for a demonstration that includes a missing object, an awkward position and a failed attempt. NEURA describes household assistance as an intended use, but the available terms do not establish a delivered home package or how much help that job would need.1

The Gen3.5 reservation offer

Gen 3.5 is the version named in NEURA's full-size 4NE1 reservation offer. The company describes interaction, object handling and transportation as its intended work, with dexterous hands and tools for developers to connect and train the machine.2

On October 26, 2026, the Gen3.5 reservation page estimated €98,000 per robot for one to nineteen units, or €60,000 each for twenty or more, excluding tax and shipping. It described a €100 refundable reservation payment credited toward the final purchase. Its end-of-2026 availability expectation does not confirm when a particular order will arrive.2

The offer includes software interfaces and teleoperation access. That gives a development team ways to work with the robot, but the presence of those tools does not specify which everyday tasks come ready to use. Before reserving for a particular job, ask for the supplied software, required training and ongoing service costs to be included in the quotation.2

The generation question remains open: the main page introduces Gen4, while the reservation retains the Gen3.5 name. The final hardware and delivery countries are not established here. Obtain an agreement identifying the body, software package and destination, including what happens if the version or timing changes.12

Living with the software

NEURA’s claim that the Gen4 model runs locally answers a computing question. The separate Gen3.5 offer lists Neuraverse integration and teleoperation. For the version being considered, ask what recordings leave the robot, who can connect remotely, and which functions continue without internet access. A local model alone does not answer those ownership questions.12

Does a Gen3.5 reservation buy Gen4?

That is not established. The two official pages use different generation names, and neither cited offer establishes an automatic substitution or upgrade. Ask NEURA to name the supplied generation and configuration in the final agreement before relying on the reservation for a project.12

Is there a ready-to-use home package?

No delivered household package is established by these sources. Household assistance is an intended use, while the Gen3.5 offer includes tools for developers and remote operation. Define the task you want completed, then ask what software, supervision, training and local repair support the quoted package includes.12

Sources and notes

  1. 1. NEURA: 4NE1 generation

The main page checked on October 26, 2026 names Gen4. The generic dimension and payload panel is not explicitly assigned to that generation. NEURA’s relative weight claim does not establish an absolute Gen4 weight, and locally running AI does not establish every function’s connectivity or data policy.

  2. 2. NEURA: Gen3.5 reservation terms

These are the Gen3.5 reservation-page terms recorded on October 26, 2026. Prices are estimates in euros before tax and shipping. The page describes a refundable deposit credited to the purchase; checkout was not verified. End-of-2026 availability is an expectation, and final hardware and eligible delivery countries remain unresolved.
