Check the phone before the robot
The L-01 page checked on October 26, 2026 lists iOS 17 or later and recommends iPhone 12 models onward. For Android, it lists Android 12 or later and recommends Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ performance or better. The maker discourages flip phones and tablets and supplies a docking-ring approach for phones without built-in magnetic attachment.1
The L-01 specification checked on October 26, 2026 is up to 10W wireless output and a 6,000mAh battery. LOOI also advertises edge and obstacle detection. Treat that sensing as a product feature to evaluate in a clear space, rather than permission to leave a valuable phone at an exposed desk edge.1
Conversation has a cloud component
The LOOI privacy policy retained in the sources checked on October 26, 2026 identifies TangibleFuture Inc. and explains that voice requests go to a contracted cloud AI provider. It says raw voice is not retained in LOOI's own cloud database after processing, while allowing limited temporary handling by the provider. Account-linked conversation history and memory are stored in the cloud.3
An optional Deep Visual Understanding setting can send individual image frames to the provider. The policy describes controls for deleting history and memory, with exceptions for legal, security and backup needs. Decide whether the desk or room where LOOI will sit is a place where you want those features enabled.3
What to establish before ordering
An official purchase page is present, but the current price, subscription entitlements, warranty duration and exact offline feature set were not established in this check. Ask for those terms for the version you will receive, particularly whether conversation carries usage limits or recurring charges.14
The useful test is whether you want playful interaction enough to dedicate a suitable phone and space to it. Its character and expressions are designed experiences. They should not be read as evidence that it has feelings or provides treatment for a health condition.1
