This 2025 campaign film shows Mirumi on bags; current colors and availability may differ.
Imagine noticing it turn its face while you wait in a queue. That is closer to the intended experience than asking it for advice or expecting a conversation. Yukai's original announcement presented a character that invites a passerby to react; the current product keeps the emphasis on glances and gestures.12
A reaction is not a command being understood. The official FAQ says it can turn toward a voice without recognizing words, and its responses vary. Choose it because you enjoy those small movements, rather than expecting a tutor or an assistant.31
First check the bag you would actually use. Yukai recommends a strap about 10 to 15 mm in diameter and warns that sideways tilting can let it slip off. It also needs protection from rain: the product is not waterproof, and neither the robot nor its attached fur cover is washable.3
The US Gray listing gives roughly eight hours of operation and two hours to recharge. These are maker estimates. A USB-A to USB-C cable is supplied, but a power adapter is not. Plan where you would recharge it after carrying it, rather than assuming it is a passive plush accessory.53
The maker recommends Mirumi for people aged 15 and above. Its soft appearance is not a reason to treat it as a toy for a young child.3
On October 27, the official US store showed Gray, Ivory and Pink at US$149.99, with each October preorder listing marked sold out. That establishes a displayed US price, not stock or successful October delivery. Use the country-specific store linked by Mirumi's official site when checking a new order.41
Ask which moment you want from a companion: a glance from your bag, a robot conversation at your desk, or a project whose movements you can change. Mirumi serves the first idea. Its limited interaction can be exactly the attraction if you want a small character to carry, without expecting it to answer you.13
Current product behavior and country-store links were checked on the live official site. The US store is linked from its store menu.
